“LearnPest continuing education courses are the BEST! This year I had to explore other companies who offer the required courses per the SPCB. I found LearnPest. I have been in business for 48+ years, and I have to say this was the least stressful of all. I would vouch for them 1000%. Thank you again, Caleb, you were so helpful.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long is a Connecticut pesticide license valid?

Most pesticide certifications in Connecticut are valid for five years and expire on January 31 of the renewal year.

  • Can CEUs be used for multiple categories?

No. Credits must be earned separately for each certified category and cannot be double-counted.

  • Are pesticide use reports required?

Yes. Private applicators and some commercial applicators must submit pesticide use summary reports.

  • What happens if I miss the renewal deadline?

Late renewals may require additional fees or retesting depending on how long the certification has lapsed.

  • Does Connecticut accept reciprocity from other states?

Yes. Connecticut may grant reciprocity when equivalent certification exists, subject to DEEP approval.

  • Do operator applicators need CEUs?

No. Operator applicators work under a Supervisory Applicator, who is responsible for CE compliance.
