How to renew your Indiana pest control license
Renewal deadline · December 31
Pass the Core Exam and any required Category exams.
If applying pesticides or fertilizers to lawns for hire, pass the Core and Category B exams and meet additional experience requirements.
Complete a state chemist-approved multi-day training or meet an alternative pathway such as 90 days as an active Registered Technician, one year as a licensed applicator, or completion of a qualified post-high-school turf program.
Be aware that exams may not be attempted more than three times in a 12-month period.
After passing exams, apply to OISC for applicator credentials using the required application form.
Maintain certification records and complete continuing education requirements.
